Winterfest - Road to Kings of Tallinn ranking winner earns a €1100 Main Event ticket

Starting from Monday, the 20th of January, a week-long mini-festival takes place in Olympic Park Casino during which the most successful player will be asserted through the ranking system. The player who accumulates the most ranking points during the ranking events will win an €1100 Main Event ticket to the Kings of Tallinn.

A total of six ranking tournaments will be held during the week of Winterfest - Road to Kings of Tallinn. On Monday the 20th of January, a €25 unlimited re-buy satellite-tournament will be held to the €350 Main Event.

The key events of Road to Kings of Tallinn are the €220 NLH OlyBet Special Progressive Knockout and the €350 NLH Winterfest Main Event, both of which are two-day events. The Progressive Knockout kicks-off on Thursday and features 30-minute levels and a 30 000 starting stack with single re-entry allowed during the late registration period of 6 levels. A total of 16 levels will be played during Day 1 of the PSKO and the second day continues on Friday at 15:15.

On Friday the two-day €350 NLH Winterfest Main Event with 40-minute levels and 30 000 starting stack will kick-off. Players can make unlimited re-entries during the late registration period of 6 levels. Day 2 of the Main Event will continue on Saturday at 12:15.

Progressive knockout tournaments are similar to the regular knockout tournaments, the only difference being, that in the progressive knockout tournament eliminating a player will reward you with 50% of their bounty and the other 50% will be added progressively to your bounty. Therefore the bounty increases constantly when knocking out other players. In general, bounties during the late phase in the progressive knockout tournaments tend to get multiple times bigger than the original bounty, which means knocking out other players becomes very important.

OlyBet Special Progressive Knockout tournament will look like this:

  • €100 from the buy-in will go to the regular prize pool;
  • €100 from the buy-in will go to the bounty prize pool;
  • knocking out a player will give you half of his bounty and the second half will be added to your bounty;
  • the tournament winner will win bounty in addition to the regular prize pool;
  • the first and second place prize money will be the same and only differ by the bounty amount.
